Brian brings a passionate, holistic lens to leading a physical life by combining his knowledge of Movement (physiology, anatomy, psychology, nutrition) to help people live out their desire to express fully their potential.

Brian holds a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology and continues his studentship (10 yrs) under the Ido Portal Methodology, which started in 2014. He has been working with individuals and groups to improve well being through practice for over 25 years.

Carter taught yoga from 2009-2017 and his first experience with movement practice actually occurred at a friend’s yoga retreat in 2014. Soon after, he joined Brian in studying with Ido Portal and his team through online coaching. In 2015, Carter took part in a week long immersion with Ido in Berlin.  During a 9 month road trip across the Western US, Carter deepened his movement practice through 3-5 hours of study a day. When he returned to Dallas in 2017, he continued to  study directly under Brian and practices hours daily. 

Carter has done his very best to make his entire life a practice. From reading the great books of the Western Canon, to studying film; he looks to make connections between his movement practice and the rest of his life. And he has simplified that life so that he may continue to put his own practice and study first. Making connections between everything he does to a  conscious practice. And he uses those connections to study himself more deeply and to share any insights gleaned with the students at TMS.

MOVEMENT CLASSES

Our Movement Group Classes are an all-levels exploration into our varied movement practice. Subjects studied include mobility, strength, coordination, locomotion, handstands, and more. No experience needed but an open and curious mind a must.
